## **Becoming a student member or an intern at the NSA**

The NSA offers students the opportunity to become an emerging scholar or student collaborator. Membership criteria are available [here](https://ras-nsa.ca/the-network/).

- **Emerging Researcher**
  - Graduate student or young professional
  - Supervised or sponsored by an NSA researcher or collaborator
  - Actively working on one of the NSA’s research themes
- **Student Contributor**
  - Undergraduate student
  - Supervised by an NSA researcher
  - Interest in one of the NSA’s research themes

Student members of the NSA are encouraged to analyze issues in the field of security and defence through four types of bilingual publications (Hot Takes, Policy Briefs, Policy Reports and articles).
