Ludwine Tchatat is a public policy analyst and political science researcher. She holds a master’s degree in political science, with a specialization in international relations, from the University of Montreal, and her work focuses in particular on civil conflicts, international security, and military capacity-building.

Her academic research has focused on the consequences of rebel victories in civil conflicts and their effects on the socioeconomic conditions of populations. She has also contributed to studies on military training abroad, particularly on the effects of U.S. military training programs and their implications for Canada.

In recent years, she has developed professional expertise in strategic analysis and public policy. She has worked at the National Collaborating Centre for Public Health and Policy (NCCPHPP) and subsequently as a policy analyst and advisor at the First Nations of Quebec and Labrador Health and Social Services Commission (FNQLHSSC).
