Sarah Pedneault is a master student in International Security at the École supérieure d’études internationales of Laval University in Quebec. She holds a bachelor degree of Laval University in public affairs and international relations, in which she specialized in diplomacy, peace and security. During her graduate studies, she participated in many international models and diplomatic simulations in the United States, France and Canada. In 2020, she wrote her MA essay on crisis management in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and the several challenges facing the alliance in 2020. In the past years, Sarah worked as a journalist for CBC/Radio-Canada. She is currently working as a research assistant and teaching assistant. Her personal research focuses on transatlantic relations within NATO, as well as interstate relations in conflict zones and international military interventions.
