Amélie Zima is a researcher at IRSEM. With a doctorate in political science from the University of Paris-Nanterre, she wrote her thesis on NATO's first post-Cold War enlargement, and was awarded first prize for her thesis by the Institut des hautes études de défense nationale (IHEDN). Her work focuses on NATO and the Polish political system. Fiacre Thibaut Zoungni is a diplomat by training. After a Masters in diplomacy and conflict resolution at the Catholic University of Louvain in Belgium, he obtained a PhD in Political Science at Laval University. He is currently undertaking a postdoctoral internship at the Faculty of Law and Political Science of the University of Quebec in Montreal, where he is continuing his research on France's military interventions.
