For this 32nd episode, Thomas and Sarah-Myriam interview Chantal Lavallée, Assistant Professor of International Studies and Deputy Director of the Centre for Security and Crisis Governance (CRITIC) at the Royal Military College of Saint-Jean. They discuss the place of drones in the evolution of security issues as well as civil-military cooperation. Chantal explains to what extent the integration of drones is transforming the socio-technical imagination. They then discuss the impact of COVID-19 on the use of the technology and how this new technology influences the current context of the crisis in Ukraine. Chantal concludes with a comparison of the use of these technologies in Canada with what is being done in Europe.
