Jacob Tuckey is an early-career policy professional with a focus on industrial strategy and defence. He completed his master’s degree at the University of Waterloo’s Balsillie School under the supervision of Alexander Lanoszka. His research focused on how NATO member states on the eastern flank developed their defence industries in response to two major flashpoints in the Russo-Ukrainian War.
In addition to his work with the Network, Jacob has served as a Balsillie Graduate Fellow studying economic resilience, as well as a research lead for a policy task force at the NATO Association of Canada.
