Antonin Blanchard is a master’s student in political science at the Université du Québec à Montréal. He studies international relations and world politics, specializing in security and defense issues. He has also worked on Egypt’s foreign policy and political system. His previous research focused on analyzing the strategic surprise of the October 7, 2023 attack, as well as Egypt’s foreign policy in Africa and the conflict in Ukraine.
Today, Antonin Blanchard is working on the issues surrounding nuclear deterrence in Europe, and on the notion of neutrality and its various models. His master’s thesis focuses on the definition of neutrality and its analysis in the case of the war in Ukraine. He is also a member of the Rubicon editorial team.
