Shuangsheng Zhao is a PhD student in Geographic Sciences at Laval University under the supervision of Professor Frédéric Lasserre. He holds a master's degree in Geopolitics from the University of Paris VIII. His doctoral project focuses on Chinese policy towards Pacific island states. With his research, he aims to analyze different geopolitical issues in the Indo-Pacific, in particular, the influence of China. Amélie Zima is a researcher at IRSEM. Fiacre Thibaut Zoungni is a diplomat by training. After a Masters in diplomacy and conflict resolution at the Catholic University of Louvain in Belgium, he obtained a PhD in Political Science at Laval University. He is currently undertaking a postdoctoral internship at the Faculty of Law and Political Science of the University of Quebec in Montreal, where he is continuing his research on France's military interventions.
