Marc-Olivier Cantin is a doctoral student in political science at the University of Montreal. Before starting his doctoral studies, he worked at the New York-based NGO Global Center for the Responsibility to Protect, where he analyzed different situations of violation of human rights around the world. His research focuses on violence against civilians in intra-state conflicts and on radicalization processes within rebel groups. He has a master in International Relations from King’s College London.
