Rhita Ronda holds an integrated bachelor’s degree in Public Affairs and International Relations from Laval University and is currently a master’s degree student in International Studies at University of Montreal. She specializes in cultures conflict and peace and is writing her thesis under the supervision of professor Marie-Joëlle Zahar. She was born and raised in Morocco and moved to Quebec to pursue her University studies. Before starting her master’s degree, she completed an intership at the Bureau of the United Nations and International Organizations of the Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Her research interests focus on the power dynamics in conflict resolution and the local ownership of the peace processes. She speaks three languages: French, Arabic and English.
